At the Township Vegetable Tunnel Project, planting of the winter crops took place during April 2015. The team of Spoudazo had lots of fun whilst working with the beneficiaries in Khotsong and Matlharangtlheng. Vegetable tunnels were re-established during March.
We experienced the true meaning of Ubuntu as we witnessed how the new tunnel beneficiaries in these communities assisted each other, working in the other beneficiaries’ tunnels as if it was in their own.
After the 14 new tunnel beneficiaries have been trained and all the tunnels have been planted with crops, everyone felt like family – a community within a community was formed. Once again these tunnels provided the opportunity to reach out to one another and to talk to one another – to stop, listen and to look one another in the eyes.
