As mentioned above, new tunnels are being manufactured and some of these removed tunnels are being re-established. This includes a six month mentorship period with new identified beneficiaries in the townships of Mangaung.
During September 2015, Spoudazo did site identification, soil preparation, started with the manufacturing of tunnels, filled 50kg bags with horse manure (159 bags to be precise!) and completed the set-up of six of these tunnels.
If all goes according to plan, all the tunnels will be setup and planted by middle October 2015. This will mean that most of these beneficiaries will have food on their tables by December 2015.
