Vodacom Change The World at Beudene Daycare for Disabled

The 2015/2016 Vodacom Change the World programme where Cindy van Zyl helped changing the world of learners with Autism at Beudene Day Care for disabled is coming to an end. The learners with Autism at Beudene grew from 6 to 20! Spoudazo has entered to qualify for the 2016/2017 Vodacom Change the world programme and is holding thumbs to be chosen for the second phase. Support for learners with Autism at Beudene

Since Cindy van Zyl, our Vodacom Change the World volunteer at Beudene, has established a structure where the skills of the Autistic learners can be measured and monitored on a regular basis, there has been tremendous growth in the learners with Autism. Spoudazo's Purpose
The purpose of the trust is to enhance the interests of the poor and vulnerable, to further their interests and well-being by means of providing them with Welfare, Humanitarian assistance, Health Care, Land and Housing, Education and Development services.
Spoudazo's Mission
Our desire is to serve the poor and the needy in these areas by building the bridge between business and community and to use the registered public benefit organization, Spoudazo Enterprises Trust, as the platform for this important integration.
Spoudazo's Main SED Projects
- Township Vegetable tunnel project: The focus of this project is not only to ensure food security for these households but to establish an economic system within their communities.
- Beudene Daycare for disabled is a daycare for disabled people with all kinds of disabilities and all ages situated in Bloemfontein. They strive to develop independent and appropriate social behavior and integration. Their aim is to develop well balanced and happy disabled individuals who will be participating members of the broader community.
- Tjhabelang Primary School: Tjhabelang Primary School provides the children of Bainsvlei, a rural area to the west of Bloemfontein, with the opportunity to enjoy an above average educational experience at a fraction of the cost of similar schooling in town. Watch a video of Tjhabelang
- Get Real Female entrepreneurial development programme: This programme offers orphaned young girls an opportunity to be equipped with skills and knowledge to become not only great entrepreneurs, but also well balanced real women in whatever career they choose to follow.
- Message of Hope project: Raising funds to distribute the book, Jesus Christ is not a joke – He is your answer, your hope, your freedom and your life, in communities.
