2019 was the 8th year of labouring in the townships, providing not only tunnel structures for vegetable growing, but teaching the beneficiaries skills, responsibility and accountability when it comes to receiving good gifts. During this term, almost 10,000 seedlings were distributed and planted in the 55 tunnels that are currently allocated to beneficiaries in Mangaung and Wepener. Grade 7 learners from Grey College formed a special partnership with Beudene. Not only did they come on regular visits to play with the learners, but they also contributed with toys, furniture and funds to be allocated according to all our special needs.
