During March 2020, the team of Spoudazo excitedly started to identify new beneficiaries for our Township Vegetable Tunnels as Raubex paved the way for nine new tunnels to be setup in the Mangaung township areas. Many parents have lost their income; Beudene understood their realities and did not expect payments from them. Yet, Beudene was committed to pay full salaries to their staff during the whole lockdown period. On 18 March 2020 Beudene Daycare for disabled closed their doors. This was before the National Lockdown was announced on 23 March 2020. This was such an unusual closure for Beudene as holidays are always associated with a year-end party, lots of festivities and presents.
