Winter conditions in the Free State were not severe this year and all of the vegetable tunnels in the township flourished with the winter crops! The tunnel beneficiaries had much to eat this season with enough left to sell for commercial purposes. Local restaurants in Bloemfontein can’t wait for their weekly spinach orders to be delivered.
